General Booking Terms

Before booking an experience with  Sirdal Huskyfarm, you must read and accept these terms. By confirming a booking, you agree to comply with them. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for communicating these terms to all participants.

Bookings and Inquiries

For experiences that can be booked online, the reservation is confirmed when full payment has been received or when a booking confirmation has been sent.

For bookings made directly (outside of the website), the booking is considered confirmed when the content, time, and price have been agreed upon and confirmed by Sirdal Huskyfarm.

Safety

We strive to offer safe and positive experiences. All outdoor activities involve a certain level of risk. Participants must assess their own physical and mental condition before participating. Our guides provide necessary safety information before the activity begins. Sirdal Huskyfarm holds liability insurance, but we recommend that all guests have their own travel insurance covering accidents, cancellations, and medical needs.

Participant Responsibility

All participants must:

• Be physically and mentally fit for the activity
• Inform the guide of any health issues (e.g. heart/lung diseases, diabetes, recent surgery, pregnancy, etc.)
• Wear appropriate clothing suitable for the activity and weather
• Follow all instructions before, during, and after the activity
• Arrive punctually at the agreed meeting place
• Have valid travel insurance
• Be sober before and during the activity (intoxicated participants will not be allowed to participate and will not receive a refund)
• Meet the age requirements for the group

Our Responsibility

Sirdal Huskyfarm is responsible for:

• Carrying out the activity as agreed with respect to content, time, place, and any participant conditions
• Providing correct and up-to date information about the activity

Use of Photos and Videos

We often take photos and videos during activities for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us before the activity begins.

Cancellation Terms

For the following experiences

Husky Farm Adventure, Husky Visit, Huskyfarm Camping, Wilderness Spa, Mountain Cabin

• Full refund or credit note for cancellations at least 48 hours in advance
• Full refund or credit note if we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen events
• Cancellations must be made in writing via email
• No-shows will be charged in full

For the following experiences

Dogsledding Adventure, Mountain Adventure, Overnight Mountain Adventure, Expedition, Premium Tour, Grouse Hunting, Winter Teambuilding, Husky Camp

• Cancellations must be made in writing via email
• 100% refund for cancellations 30 days or more in advance
• 50% refund for cancellations 14–29 days in advance
• No refund for cancellations less than 14 days in advance
  (We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellations.)

Cancellations or Changes by Sirdal Huskyfarm

We reserve the right to cancel or change activities if conditions make it unsafe to proceed (e.g. weather conditions or other unforeseen events). In such cases, a new time or a full refund will be offered. We may also cancel if participant requirements are not met (e.g. physical fitness, age, late arrival). Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used at booking.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with an experience, notify the guide immediately and send us an email within two days of the activity. We will do our best to find a solution. Any disputes will be handled under Norwegian law.

Rental of Equipment and Facilities

The renter is fully responsible for any loss or damage to equipment. In cases of abnormal wear or damage, additional costs may apply.

Changes and Errors

We reserve the right to correct typing errors and make changes to content on the website, social media, and marketing material both before and after booking. Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
