Booking terms and conditions at Sirdal Huskyfarm
Before booking a Sirdal Huskyfarm experience, you need to read and accept our booking terms and conditions. Booking an experience with us means that you have agreed to our terms and conditions. When booking for a group, the person who made the booking is responsible for informing all members of the group about these terms and conditions.
Bookings and queries
For activities with online booking, the activity is considered reserved when it is paid in full or the booker receives a booking confirmation. For those activities where we do not offer online booking, content, time and price are agreed directly with Sirdal Huskyfarm. A booking is considered reserved when content, time and price have been confirmed by Sirdal Huskyfarm.

Safety
Sirdal Huskyfarm does its utmost to minimize risk and give all our guests a positive and safe experience. However, we must emphasize that all outdoor activities involve an element of risk that participants must recognize and take into account. Guests must consider their potential personal challenges based on their own abilities and limitations. Our guides will give you the necessary instruction and safety briefing before starting. Sirdal Huskyfarm cannot be held accountable for events beyond our control. Sirdal Huskyfarm has liability insurance, but recommends that all participants have their own travel insurance.
Obligations
- As a participant, you are responsible for:
- Assessing your physical and mental state as it applies to the activity you booked
- Inform our guides before the activity start if you have health problems (for example heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal problems, epileptics, recent surgery or pregnant women)
- Having appropriate clothing for the booked activity and current weather conditions
- Following instructions given before, during and after the activity
- Meeting up at the agreed time and place
- Having valid travel insurance covering any illness, accident, cancellation, damaged luggage and more
- Not being intoxicated in any way before and during the activity. If a guest is intoxicated, they will not be allowed to join the activity and there will be no refund
- Complying with any age limits in your entourageSirdal Huskyfarm is responsible for:
- Quality and execution of the booked activity
- Providing correct information regarding the time, date, place, age limits and content of the activity
Cancellations
To cancel or change an activity, the booker must contact us directly at hallo@sirdalhuskyfarm.no at least 7 days before the activity is scheduled to start. Only written cancellations are considered valid. Cancellations made within 14 days before the activity is scheduled to start will be fully refunded minus an administration fee of NOK 250. For cancellations made less than 14 days before the activity is scheduled to start, we do not give a refund. This is to cover the costs of preparations and logistics ahead of an activity (such as staffing and purchasing). We therefore recommend having your own travel insurance that covers such eventualities.
Sirdal Huskyfarm is responsible for carrying out the booked activity in a safe and sound manner. We therefore reserve the right to cancel or change any booked experience if, for safety reasons, it is not advisable to carry out the activity. This could be weather and snow conditions or unpredictable events occurring. A new time for the activity can be offered or the amount refunded in full to the customer in such cases.
Sirdal Huskyfarm reserves the right to cancel or change any activity if conditions for the activity are not met. This can include the physical condition of the participants, age limits, the participant is late etc.
In the event of a cancellation, we will credit the amount to the same account that was used when ordering.
Complaint
If a guest feels that an activity or experience from Sirdal Huskyfarm was lacking, they must inform us at the earliest opportunity. The guest must inform the guide and notify us in writing no later than 2 days after the date of the completed activity. We will always attempt to resolve any dispute or complaint. Any lawsuit is governed by Norwegian law.
For all rentals (such as equipment and facilities) the tenant is fully responsible for covering any loss or damages. In the event of excessive wear and tear, the tenant will be charged for repair costs.
Changes
We reserve the right to make typographical errors and to change content on the website, social media or marketing material before or after a booking has been made. Most of these changes would be minor and we update customers of any changes as soon as possible.
Force Majeure
In the event of unexpected events such as natural disasters, political instability or other emergency situations beyond our control (Force Majeure), which leave no other option than to cancel an order, Sirdal Huskyfarm is not obliged to refund the booker.
Image and video use
Sirdal Huskyfarm often documents its experiences using pictures and film that are used for marketing. We respect your privacy and if you do not wish to be shown in photos or video, we would like to be informed of this before the activity starts.
