Enjoy a unique and unforgettable camping experience at Husky Camp in Sirdal Huskyfarm
Our base is Sirdal Huskyfarm, which is located in idyllic surroundings at Runtleneset in Sirdal. Here we offer exciting activities from morning to evening, dog sledding, horse riding, raft building, bow & arrow, paddling, fishing, mountain walks, swimming and balancing on a line. We also have quieter communal activities such as games, storytelling, sauna, bonfire and quiz.
General Information:
The participants spend the night in small cabins and will be divided according to age and gender. Close by is a sanitary building with toilets and showers.
Dining takes place in the main building. Most of today’s meals will be eaten there, but we also aim to eat a lot outside. We serve healthy and good food. If someone has special needs in relation to allergies, it is good if this is stated when registering.
There will always be an adult available at night that the children can turn to if there is anything important.
The camp costs NOK 4,100 and includes 3 overnight stays, 4 meals each day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper) and all the activities. In addition, the children get a snack (fruit/berry/vegetables) every day as well as various snacks.
Communication
We prefer that the children do not bring mobile phones with them. Here, there is free unfolding of lots of other activities that are in focus. If they need to talk to someone at home, they can of course borrow our camp phone.
Pictures and films will be posted continuously on Facebook so that you at home can follow all the good things that are happening.
Homesickness
We have good experience in dealing with homesickness. Here, however, we depend on open and constructive communication with you parents.
If we become aware that a child longs for home, we will contact you.
Snoop
We buy in various snacks, so the children don’t have to bring anything from home. Everything is included in our campers.
Arrival and departure
Arrival on Monday is at 15.00, while departure on Thursday is at 18.00
Location
Sirdal Huskyfarm is located in idyllic surroundings approx. 14 km below Sinnes. You will see a sign marked “Sirdal Huskyfarm” from the main road.
Cancellation
Any cancellation is made through your own travel insurance.
